Welcome to PIVOT Labs! Our new feedback/roadmap and changelog tool. The major features we are working on will be shown here, along with an estimated timeline. You can also suggest features and vote on them to guide what we build next! We’ll then detail these changelog posts with all changes made (big + small). We’re still in the process of getting this platform rolled out - stay tuned!

We’ve been hard at work finishing off the News functionality and our new Universal Search, which allows for easy and fast searching across all of your main data (loads, vouchers, companies and vehicles to name a few!). You can even search on contact details, certificate numbers and purchase orders. Here’s a snippet of it in action on the dashboard.

Other notable changes include;
We’ve added an autocomplete function when adding a vehicle to a load, showing possible vehicles based on what you’ve typed in.
For users who can access the companies page, you can now add a company directly from the Load screen. Note that regular operators cannot see this unless they have access to add/remove companies.
Both of these changes are shown below!

You can see our full list of changes for this update below!
Operations Page
- Added autocomplete dropdown when typing in a Vehicle Rego, which allows for a quick selection for existing vehicles.
- Added the ability for users who have access to ‘Companies’ module to be able to add a new company directly from the Load screen.
- When changing the site of an existing load, it will now pull in the correct data (ie combinations) for that site.
- Sometimes when you updated the vehicle rego or quantity and ‘Completed’ the load, it would trigger the incomplete error but show no errors. We’ve slowed it down a little so it does a good check of the errors before it decides to pop!
- We’ve tweaked some of the wording on the email receipt, namely the subject line and file name to make it a little more obvious that it’s a waste receipt (and not spam).
- We’ve fixed the “Requested User” dropdown on the edit request to show all users when looking for someone else.
- When the system is recalculating a payment, if there’s any missing information it will now let the user continue editing instead of blocking any further actions (which forced a refresh of the page).
- Overriding a load that’s missing information was on a little break, but it’s back in full form now!
- Some subloads decided they didn’t want a Creator, we’ve fixed the loop hole and made sure the Creator has been added onto all of the ones that skipped.
- In View Only mode on a load, you can now see the purchase order/comment field at the bottom.
- When a load was entered without selecting the subload combination (ie type of waste) and then put on hold, it would never open again! We’ve fixed the logic so now it skips over any empty subloads.
- When completing an edit request, if you make any changes to the load you now have to finish off the request instead of being able to go back! Remember, you can always check the loads logs to see what has changed and who made the change.
- When completing an edit request, if you make any changes that result in an incomplete load error (ie not balanced payment or missing information) you will now need to override again on task completion to make sure nothing gets missed!
Timecards Page
- Given a speed boost when approving leave requests.
Dashboard
- Universal Search has been added! This allows you to search for all of our most used fields in the one place. This replaces the existing Search box at the top of the page, which has now gone into well-deserved retirement.
Employees Page
- Fixed the occasional error when adding a new site to an existing user
- When updating a users email address, it will now check to make sure it’s a ridgy-didge email
- Removed some of the unused modules under the Weighbridge section of permissions, keeping only the used ones.
- When changing a users “Approved to Login” status, it will now show live changes instead of having to refresh the page.
Companies Page
- Fixed the occasional error when adding a site directly to a new company
- Added oil to the toggle for making a company inactive (now it doesn’t get stuck)
- By default, only active companies show instead of all companies
- Companies can no longer have ‘,’ symbols in their name, as they don’t work nicely with .csv exports. You are free to use any other symbol!
News
- Now shows the release date’s time, to make it more obvious that you can change the time of release as well!
Reporting
- We’ve added a loading screen to the reporting page, as sometimes our permission checks take a few seconds to kick in and the grey void was ugly to look at while it processed.
General
- Large cleanup of data collections that are pulled in for users, giving a little more smarts to when and where we pull the data in to try and speed things up. This will be particularly useful for users with slower internet connections and also high traffic sites.
